New Solution Offered A Better Vehicle Economy
STS needed to solve a problem with a unit controlling the temperature in the driver’s cabin of heavy duty vehicles. The existing solution was produced in-house. STS found it complicated and expensive to produce and taking too much space of the driver’s cabin.
STS is a Swedish company founded in 1988 with head office in Upplands Bro, Stockholm producing cost effective solutions for equipment in heavy duty machinery.
All Functionality on One PCB
DeltaNordic’s site in Nanjing, China was assigned to develop a unit better adapted to the production, still maintaining a high quality. The company developed an electronic control unit with all functionality on one PCB. The unit was a box-build and mounted into the drivers cabin, consuming less space by eliminating unnecessary components and cabling. DeltaNordic also produced the technical documentation.
